The first thing to note is that the graphical interface has altered: the graphics are clearer, and you can now hide the icons for full screen, filter and file export, leaving more room for results in the scorecards.

In terms of functionality, the proposed changes make the user’s life easier. In particular, you can now manage the filters (for type, period and procedure) from the scorecard, filtering all the reports on the page, so you can select data from a precisely-defined and homogeneous population. Naturally, you can export all the indicators shown to a file for use off line.
The enhancements go well beyond presentation. Most importantly, the environment is now multilingual (French or English, with Spanish coming shortly). You can also manage alerts using various reports: these alerts can trigger emails to notify the people concerned.
W4 Control Center is a fully-functional process-management platform that you may install for any user of the W4 BPM Suite, version-2006 or later. It is quick to implement, and since 70 standard reports are already set up, you get immediate results. Monitoring produces real-time metrics on process execution from the time a process is launched. Once the “ProcessMart” (a contraction of Process and DataMart) is populated, you can immediately start to analyze and calculate the various indicators based on compiled data specific to a business activity, for periods of time varying from one day to one year.
