W4 is an active member of the following International Professional Associations :
WfMC (Workflow Management Coalition) was founded in 1993. The WfMC represents a global organization of developers, consultants and analysts, as well as university and research groups devoted to workflow and BPM. The WfMC creates and contributes to process-related standards, educates the market on related issues and is the only standards organization that concentrates purely on process.
WARIA was established in 1992 as the Workflow And Reengineering International Association. Its mission is to define industry developments and innovations concerning BPM, workflow, knowledge management and e-commerce, offering collaboration through shared experiences, product evaluations, networking between users and vendors, education and training. WARIA works closely with the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC).
