Tranquilidade, a leading Portuguese insurance company, decided to set up an innovating organizational process aiming at optimizing the circulation of data flows within its structure.

After going through all the main tools provided on the market, including a first round consultation of potential vendors, Tranquilidade decided to concentrate their efforts on a BPM project. They selected D4B for the integration and retained W4 Suite solution, in order to automate all their company processes, optimize the traceability, index strategic data and to harmonize the collaborative work management procedures.

This first realization confirms the recent agreement of a partnership initiated between W4 and the Portuguese engineering and service company D4B.

Initiated at the beginning of 2003, the project of automating all trade and administrative processes "Enterprise Wide Workflow" has become an essential priority of strategic reorganization and quality improvement.

The application will concern 3000 users. Focused today on the customer claims management, the "Enterprise Wide Workflow" project will be extended soon to the entire trade process chain of the group. Tranquilidade led a complete reform of its work methods to implement a quality control and groupware infrastructure enabling its employees to control the consistency of their business processes. Moreover, this significant process formalization had to be able to meet with customer needs, to homogenise, and to enhance the treatment of the related events.
