BPM (Business Process Management) is about modeling and automating company business processes. This concerns not only core business production (manufacturing, telecommunications, networking, creation and launching of new products, financial accounts and banking management), but also administrative functions, such as purchasing or personnel management.
Model Driven Engineering
MDE is a development approach that advocates focusing efforts on the application model rather than on the code. Modeling and task description is performed by business experts and thus management skills take precedence over programming skills. Many benefits arise: decoupling business / technology, easy maintenance, scalability. etc.
Agile Method
Agile development, also called adaptive development, is characterized by a style of incremental, iterative project management, focused on the autonomy of the human resources involved in specification, production and validation of an integrated application and tested continuously.
